The Chingona Chronicle
I wanted to start a snail mail to connect better with readers earlier this year, but I wasn’t sure what it would look like or if I would have the time to do it. After all, I had Book 2 I had to focus on and finish.
But then, a few months ago, I was struck with inspiration. I started thinking about the idea, and then immediately wondered, But will people actually want to be part of it? I mean, I’m the type of person who would because it sounds like such a fun idea. So I did a little more research, and the idea kept growing, and it made me excited, so I knew this was it. And that’s how the Chingona Chronicle was born.
Now that I have it almost finished, I’m finally ready to share it with you. I want to open it up and make it something we can all be a part of, not just something I create and send out. I want you to have a chance to contribute to Lunaville City, too.
I can’t wait to see how we build this together. I’m already thinking about special editions, different ways for you to contribute, and even things like near-future artwork of the city or a fun fact sheet featuring some of our recurring characters. There are so many possibilities, and I’m excited to see where we take it.
So, welcome to Lunaville City. Whether you’re here to read the latest gossip, discover something strange, contribute a story, or simply have a little fun, I hope The Chingona Chronicle gives you something to look forward to each month.
I’m so excited to finally bring this little world to life and, more importantly, to bring you into it. I hope you’ll join me.

Quería comenzar un proyecto de correo postal a principios de este año para conectar mejor con mis lectores, pero no estaba segura de cómo sería ni de si realmente tendría tiempo para hacerlo. Después de todo, tenía que concentrarme en terminar el Libro 2.
Pero entonces, hace unos meses, me llegó la inspiración. Empecé a pensar en la idea y, casi de inmediato, me pregunté: ¿Pero de verdad habrá gente que quiera formar parte de esto? Quiero decir, yo soy el tipo de persona que sí lo haría porque me parece una idea muy divertida.
Así que investigué un poco más, y la idea siguió creciendo. Cuanto más pensaba en ella, más me emocionaba, y fue entonces cuando supe que esto era lo que quería hacer. Y así nació The Chingona Chronicle.
Ahora que ya casi está terminado, finalmente estoy lista para compartirlo con ustedes. Quiero abrir las puertas y convertirlo en algo de lo que todos podamos formar parte, no simplemente algo que yo creo y envío. Quiero que ustedes también tengan la oportunidad de contribuir a Lunaville City.
No puedo esperar a ver cómo construimos esto juntos. Ya estoy pensando en ediciones especiales, diferentes maneras en las que puedan contribuir e incluso cosas como ilustraciones de la ciudad en un futuro cercano o una hoja de datos curiosos sobre algunos de nuestros personajes recurrentes. Hay tantas posibilidades, y me emociona muchísimo ver hasta dónde podemos llevarlo.
Así que, bienvenidos a Lunaville City. Ya sea que estén aquí para leer los últimos chismes, descubrir algo extraño, contribuir con una historia o simplemente pasar un buen rato, espero que The Chingona Chronicle les dé algo que esperar con ilusión cada mes.
Estoy muy emocionada de finalmente darle vida a este pequeño mundo y, más importante aún, de incluirlos en él. Espero que se unan a mí.
