My Book Launch Came and Went…

And just like that, it’s over.

After months (okay, years) of writing, editing, doubting, re-editing, and finally publishing… my debut novel When Darkness Falls is officially out in the world.

The launch came with so much excitement, love, and adrenaline. I celebrated every presale, every share, every kind message. I was floating — and for a moment, it truly felt like I was living my dream.

But then the dust settled.

The rush faded.

The notifications slowed down.

And reality started to creep in with one big question:

Was this it?

No one really talks about the quiet that comes after. The weird emotional drop-off. The part where you suddenly feel like you have to keep the momentum going while also catching your breath. It’s a strange space — proud but exhausted, grateful but unsure.

If you’ve ever launched something you poured your soul into, maybe you’ve felt it too.

I’ve been learning that success doesn’t always scream. Sometimes it whispers. Sometimes it looks like one reader telling you they felt seen. One message saying they cried. One moment where you remember why you started all of this in the first place.

So, here I am — still showing up.

Still writing.

Still dreaming.

Thank you for being part of this journey with me. Whether you’ve read the book, shared it, or just followed along quietly, I see you. And I appreciate you more than you know.

There’s more coming. But for now, I’m learning to sit in the stillness… and trust it’s part of the process, too.
